Why CheMystery exists — Founder's vision
CheMystery is a play on words — chemistry and mystery — because that's what meeting people is: a bit of mystery and a bit of chemistry. You never know who you're going to connect with — even platonically — until you're in the room together.
Back in the day (90s and early 2000s), nights out were where real friendships and even long-term relationships formed naturally. The club was like the pub — a place to meet people, vibe, and see if there was chemistry. Over time, the scene became more transactional and less safe, and dating apps don't capture someone's real-life vibe.
CheMystery brings back that old-school energy in a protected, members-only space. It's about genuine connection — whether that's a friend, a potential partner, or just a night that feels warm, grown, and respectful.
And at the very least, you get to vibe to some old school Destiny's Child, Busta Rhymes, So Solid, Heartless Crew, Ludacris, Missy Elliott, En Vogue, and Blackstreet — and buss a couple old-school dances (Migraine Skank included — if you know, you know).
